Growth Velocity Assessment Criteria:
• Normal Annual Height Velocity: Infancy (~25 cm/yr) → 1–2y (~12 cm/yr) → 2–3y (~8 cm/yr) → 4y to Puberty (5–6 cm/yr) → Pubertal Peak Spurt (Boys 10–12 cm/yr, Girls 8–10 cm/yr).
• Growth Failure Alert: Annual height velocity < 4 cm/year during mid-childhood or persistent deviation below the 25th percentile warrants endocrine workup (GH deficiency, hypothyroidism, celiac disease).
