Enter gestational age at birth and postnatal days to evaluate Postmenstrual Age (PMA) and growth percentiles.
Preterm Growth Benchmarks:
- Postmenstrual Age (PMA): Calculated as Gestational Age at Birth (weeks + days) + Postnatal Chronological Age (days).
- Small for Gestational Age (SGA): Weight < 10th percentile for PMA. Appropriate for Gestational Age (AGA): 10th to 90th percentile. Large for Gestational Age (LGA): > 90th percentile.
- NICU Growth Targets: Target postnatal weight gain velocity = 15–20 g/kg/day; Length velocity = ~1 cm/week; Head circumference velocity = ~0.7 cm/week.
